DataFlow Primary Source Verification (PSV) is the mandatory credential check required by the DHA before you can even sit the Prometric exam. Most delays — and most of the 45-day timeline stretching to 90 — come from one missing or expired document, not from the verification itself.
What you actually need to submit
Passport
Valid for at least 6 months, with clear scans of both the front and back pages.
Professional photograph
Recent (within 6 months), white background — passport-photo standard.
Educational degrees
Scanned copies of every degree and diploma relevant to your registration, not just the final one.
Academic transcripts
Complete transcripts showing course duration, subjects and grades — a partial transcript is the #1 cause of rejection.
Professional license
Your current, valid license or registration from your home country (PMC/PNC, NMC/INC, BMDC/BNMC, Egyptian Medical Syndicate, KMPDC, or PRC, depending on your country).
Good Standing Certificate
Issued by your licensing authority, and it must not be older than 6 months by the time you submit it.
Experience certificates
On official letterhead, with facility stamps, authorized signatures, your designation, employment period and clinical responsibilities clearly stated.
Letter of Authorization
Grants DataFlow permission to contact your university, past employers and licensing authority directly — without it, verification can't start.
How long it actually takes
Standard processing runs around 45 days, but express services can bring it down to as little as 14 days. The variable isn't DataFlow's speed — it's how quickly your university, hospital or licensing council responds when contacted for verification.
The mistakes that cause the longest delays

What if my university doesn't respond to the verification request?+
This is the single biggest cause of delay. Following up directly with your alumni office or registrar, rather than waiting passively, often cuts weeks off the process.
Do I need DataFlow for every Gulf country, or just the UAE?+
DataFlow PSV is required for licensing in every GCC country (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait) — a completed verification file can often be reused with country-specific add-ons.
Is the Good Standing Certificate the same as my professional license?+
No — your license proves you're registered to practise; the Good Standing Certificate confirms you have no sanctions or open disciplinary cases on your record. Both are required separately.
