A doctor or nurse outside SpainYour path has three lanes, and we run all three.
Getting your degree recognised, getting your papers and being allowed to practise are three different things, handled by three different authorities. An immigration firm only does the second. Here all three run in one case file.
The degree
Recognition at the Ministry of Universities, plus recognition of your specialty at the Ministry of Health. It can be started from your country, with no NIE.
The papers
The residence and work permit that matches your situation. That is what you see below, with its price.
Professional registration
Mandatory to practise, at your province's professional body. It comes after the degree and the contract, and we walk you through it.
Which of these are you in?
Each situation has its own procedure, fixed price and phases. You start from your portal and see where your case stands at any time.
A hospital has already said yes
You have an offer from a Spanish hospital or clinic. It has the most phases and is the one that most often stalls on its own: we run all of it, from the offer to the residence card.
You are coming for the MIR
The route that only exists for healthcare professionals. Without your degree recognised you cannot even register, so the order matters: the degree first, then the student visa.
Registration included
If you are coming for the MIR, we handle your professional registration at no extra cost: it is the last step before you can practise, and we do not want you stuck there.
You are finishing your residency and staying
The step from student stay to residence and work. It is filed within a specific window around your permit's expiry: filing late makes the case much harder.
You are already in Spain and it got complicated
You have been here at least two years and have, or can get, a work contract. This is arraigo sociolaboral: the route back to a regular status, letting you work from the start.
You are a specialist with a strong offer
The Highly Qualified Professional and EU Blue Card route, for specialists on a high salary. A dedicated unit handles it and it moves faster, but it requires a salary threshold a resident doctor does not reach.
You want to bring your family
Family reunification. A resident doctor's or a nurse's salary clears the income requirement; what sets the pace is the year of prior residence and the housing report.
Time to renew
Renewing your residence and work permit, or moving on from arraigo. A short procedure, with unforgiving deadlines.
Two years in and you want citizenship
If you are Ibero-American, two years of legal residence is enough and you only sit the CCSE exam: the language one does not apply to you. It is the definitive way out of the immigration system.
Bookahospi fees. Official government fees are paid separately to the relevant authority. Timelines depend on the authority handling the case.
You hire us, we do the rest
Your case file, visible from day one
You log into your portal and see which phase it is in, which document is missing and what we did yesterday. If someone charges you and does not give you that, they are not managing anything for you.
We know healthcare, not just paperwork
The degree, the specialty and professional registration are not immigration matters: they are two other ministries and a professional body. That is why a generalist firm only gets halfway.
We tell you the real timelines
We do not promise three months. Recognition takes what it takes and the Ministry moves at its own pace. What does depend on us is that your case is not one of those that falls over a badly filed document.
